Since their first UK broadcast in 1993, QVC has transformed from a single channel TV broadcast to the world’s leading multimedia shopping retailer. They appointed Rare Breed to review all their internal communication materials, starting with the online and printed employee magazine, ‘Inside Q’.
This publication was a challenge in itself, an extensive visual audit of ‘gossip’ magazines formed the basis of our brief. We created a communications toolkit that could be easily constructed in a short time frame, allowing us to get ‘bite size’ chunks of information out in a fun way, to gossip-hungry staff from London to Liverpool. In the sentiment of Dolly Parton, it takes a lot of investment to look this cheap.
