Green with Envy.

Previously the home of the old Leyland Paint headquarters, Colour House shines like a beacon on De Beauvoir’s Balls Pond Road. Offering a unique mix of modern, easily accessible living and workspaces in one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

Collaborating with both the developer and Savills, our brief was to create an identity and marketing materials that would create differentiation and maximise cut through in a busy marketplace where competition from other much larger developments (with budgets to match) was fierce.

While many new builds might look to emulate the loft style, we needed to communicate the authentic origins of this building, with its original Crittall windows and large open spaces. Importantly, the brand story also needed to be powerful enough to persuade potential customers to buy off-plan.

Rather than playing it safe, Rare Breed encouraged us to go with a name and identity that embraces the building’s heritage, as the former headquarters of Leyland Paints. Their approach, creativity and attention to detail were second to none and are exactly what we needed in the current market conditions.

Rare Breed’s bold approach and creative impact really stood out from the crowd. Colour House has outperformed what we’d typically expect for an off-plan development, which, in the midst of a global pandemic, is a fantastic outcome.
